Pricing Specials on Church Chairs Churches still not seeing the “economic recovery”

Finding volunteers for a church’s children’s ministry can be a daunting task.  It would seem that the larger the church the more volunteers would be available and willing to work. That usually isn’t how it works though.  There are some ways to help make the idea of working with the children more inviting and hopefully lure people out of their church chairs and into the nursery. One is to offer short trial periods such as a one time experience.  Many times it’s the fear of a room full of kids that scares people off.  In most cases the people with kids in the nursery are thrilled to have a once a week break and are hesitant to volunteer.  Understandable.  This leaves a large group in the church who either don’t have kids or are way past the small child stage and feel a little out of practice.  For these two groups a small step into the pool may prove that the water is fine and they should jump in.  With good organization and some prayer you could soon have a pool of volunteers to help with one of the most important ministries in the church.
