Spirtual vs. Religious

On December 16, 2009, in Church News, by Church Chair

In a study done in late 2008 it was discovered that in children there is a difference in the happiness level of those that are considered spiritual and those considered religious.  Apparently showing up on Sunday morning and filling a church chair doesn’t have the same impact as having a working relationship with Christ.  The same study conducted with adults though did not show the same marked difference in happiness.  Those that attended church regularly were just as likely to commit suicide as those who didn’t.
