USA Made vs. Import Part 2 People Looking Forward to Sunday Sermons

USA Made vs. Import Part 3

On January 26, 2010, in USA Made Church Chairs, by Church Chair

I shared in two of my earlier posts about the implications on a personal level of buying imported church chairs and other products.  Those included the cost from having to replace products before there time and the hazards of living with defective products.  In this post I want to to discuss the effect buying imports has on our society.  With the jobless rate rising and the housing market crashing times are tough.  While I completely understand the lure of outsourcing work to less expensive workers in other countries it’s unfortunate that is happening more and more.  At Bertolini Inc. all their manufacturing is done in the USA.  This means that not only do the employees have jobs but all the suppliers are also able to employ more people.  Hopefully, with thepresent economic standing of our country more incentives will be created to help business who place value on upholding the standards of good manufacturing as well as promoting growth in our society.
